Born on April 28, 1937 in Baltimore MD. She was the daughter of the late George Kotis and Catherine E. Haines and step daughter of the late William Moran. She was the loving wife of the later Edward T. Ohl.
She is survived by her three children Deborah L. Brown, Kevin E. Ohl and Kenneth E. Ohl. She is proceeded in death by Donna M. Hawkins and Cathy Ohl. She had a brother and two sisters Willliam J. Kotis, Mary P. McKenna and Mary Pope. She was the mother in law of William E Brown, Jr, Deborah A. Ohl and Rocky Hawkins, Sr. She is survived by 11 grandchildren and proceeded in death by Justin .R Ohl and Craig S. Brown. She has 30 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She has many nieces and nephews and was the God mother to Kimberly Palasik.
Barbara worked for a number of years for Atlantic Financial Federal Credit Union in Baltimore MD. She enjoyed the Baltimore Ravens, watching westerns, loved to read and loved to shop for clothes. She enjoyed spending time with her dogs Champ, Aggie, Nyla and Joe. She enjoyed partying with Jackie and Gene Cline greatly missed by her best friend Gerry and husband George Mince. She was greatly loved by her family and will have a special place in their hearts forever.
The family is planning a memorial mass at 11 am Saturday March 16th 2024 at St Augustine Church 5976 Old Washington Rd Elkridge MD 21075. The Monahan Funeral home is helping the family with arrangements.
