Carol Ann Stirn, 71, of Gettysburg, PA, died peacefully Friday morning, August 28, 2026, at Genesis Gettysburg Center.

Born September 30, 1954, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Betty Cogburn. She was the wife of the late Douglas Stirn.

Mrs. Stirn worked for over 30 years for the Howard County, Maryland, government. She loved animals, especially cats, and was an avid supporter of the Maryland SPCA. She enjoyed traveling around the country to different states and locations, spending time with friends and family, and doing different hobbies, including knitting and sewing.

Carol is survived by her son, Justin Stirn, of Hanover, PA.
