arol L. âG-Malâ Lawver, 64 of Gettysburg, PA passed away suddenly on Monday, February 19, 2024 at The Gettysburg Hospital. Born August 17, 1959 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late John & Erma (Kauffman) Naugle. Carol was predeceased by her husband, Douglas R. Lawver, Sr. who died in 2015. She had been employed in retail sales in the Gettysburg area for many years, most recently she had worked at the Gettysburg Wal-Mart Store for 23 years. Carol dearly loved her family, they were her pride and joy. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and having parties. Carol is survived by her two children, Angie Miller (Lance) of Biglerville, PA and Douglas R. Lawver, Jr. (Emily) of Gettysburg, six grandchildren, Justin, Kurtis, Kierstyn, Zack, Addison, Liam, three great grandchildren, Rylee, Delaney and Heath, two brothers, Ron & Tim Naugle of South Mountain, PA, two sisters, Dolly McDannell of Orrtanna, PA and Sis Baker of South Mountain and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Rob, Johnny and Hump Naugle and two sisters, Jeannie Wagaman and Wilma Daywalt. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 23, 2024 at the Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg. Interment will follow the services in the Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg, PA. A Viewing will be held on Friday at the funeral home from noon until 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Forever Love Rescue, 39 Queen Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
