Carole R. Riggeal-Jones, 88, of Gettysburg, PA, died Sunday evening, January 11, 2026, after a brief illness at the Mercy House, Chambersburg, PA.
Born December 25, 1937, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late James L. and Mary E. (Crone) Riggeal.
Carole worked at the Gettysburg National Bank. After retiring from the bank, she worked at several hotels in the Gettysburg area and at Boyd’s Bears. She loved country music, the Dallas Cowboys, watching football, and golf.
Carole is survived by her three children, Deborah Hoy, of Orrtanna, PA, Sandee Luckenbaugh and her husband Patrick, of Orrtanna, PA, Nevin “BJ” Jones and his wife Axa, of Gettysburg, PA, her six grandchildren, Jennifer Peck, Andrew Peck, Ashley Buckley, Alex Jones, Nathan Jones, Jaden Jones, and four great grandchildren, Caroline Peck, Charlotte Peck, Jacob Weaver, and Landon Heflin. She was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Heyser.
Services for Carole will be private and at the convenience of the family. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Mercy House, 730 Norland Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17201.
