harlene Evonne Felton, age 38, of Biglerville, PA died suddenly at home on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Born on November 26, 1985 in Gettysburg, PA she was the daughter of Anita Perez-Thomas of Gettysburg and the late Dolphus Felton. Charlene is survived by her step-father Lawrence Thomas. She was a 2005 graduate of Gettysburg Area High School and had been employed by Gettysburg College in dining services for over 20 years. Over the years her quick wit and humor endeared her to the students and staff alike at the college as well as her family. Charlene will be dearly missed by all who knew her! She is survived by two sons, Isyiah Carter age one and Ayden Carter age three, her five siblings, Jennifer, Jeremy, Sandra, Juan and Eduardo along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 15, 2024 at St. James Lutheran Church, 109 York Street, Gettysburg with Reverends Andrew Geib and David Roberts, officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Gettysburg. The family will receive friends on Friday at the church from 9:00-11:00 AM. The family suggests memorials to the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
