She attended Biglerville High School. During her life she worked at the Gettysburg Shoe Factory, several convenience stores, and the Gettysburg High School. In 2007, she embarked on a new endeavor with her late husband as owners of the Flying Bull Saloon, located on the first floor of their apartment building in Gettysburg.
She is survived by 3 sons: George Flook, Jr. and wife Mary of Taneytown, Michael and wife Deb Flook of Gettysburg, and Kenneth and wife Deb of Gettysburg. She is survived by 9 Grandchildren: Cara Flook, Courtney Auerback and husband Adam, Corey Flook and wife Tiffany, Kyle Flook, Jenna Flook and companion Tyler, Jared Flook, Katlin Cooper and husband Wes, Cameron Flook, and Mariah Flook and companion Jason. She is survived by 12 Great grandchildren; Lily, Emma, Sophia, and Camden Auerback; Sean Lewis; Ava, Carson, and Lyla Flook; Everly Cooper; Lily Hardy, Grayson Fiorentino, and Gage Marshall.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by husband of 63 years, George Sr. who passed June 20, 2023, her son Mitchell who passed September 9, 2023, her brother Charles Fitzwater, Jr., and grandson Brennan Flook.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October19, 2023 at 11:00 AM from Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg, PA. Interment will be in Biglerville Cemetery.
