Christina (Tina) was a member of the first graduating class of Catoctin High School in 1969. She worked for over 35 years as a computer programmer at Schindler Elevator in Gettysburg after working to put herself through school, and part time at The Gettysburg Auto Auction for many years. She was passionate about the rescue and fostering of animals and was very involved in the SPCA and with Forever Love Pet Rescue. Tina often worked to transport animals interstate, linking up with other advocates to provide safe and loving homes to animals of all kinds. Also a loving grandma to three boys, she devoted much of her time to their interests and hobbies, always there to cheer them on at scouts, baseball, or soccer. An avid reader, Tina also enjoyed any beach she found herself upon, traveling, gardening, the sci-fi genre, and cruising around in her convertible.

Christina is survived by her son, Spencer Laughman and his wife Heather (Dino), of East Berlin, PA, her three grandsons, Levi, Phlynn, Callahan, and her two sisters, Vivian Gladhill and her husband Sheridan “Lee” of Ellicott City, MD, and Sandra Wagaman (the late David Wagaman), of Chambersburg, PA, formerly of Cave Town, MD. She was preceded in death by her brother, Rick Hauver, who is survived by his wife, Carolyn and son, Michael, as well as nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Christina will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, PA, with Pastor Rhonda Feiser officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Online condolences may be made at monahanfuneralhome.com.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Forever Love Kitty Rescue, 39 Queen St., Gettysburg, PA 17325, or the Adams County SPCA, 11 Goldenville Rd., Gettysburg, PA 17325.
