In Loving Memory of Christine E. Steinour “Crissy”
July 20, 1965-July 25, 2026
Christine E. Steinour (Crissy) passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and those who cherished her most.
Born on July 20, 1965, Crissy was the daughter of Earl and the late Betty Steinour.
Crissy brought joy, laughter, and love to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Born with Down Syndrome, she lived a life filled with determination, happiness, and a spirit that inspired those around her. She never met a stranger that she couldn’t make smile or see the gem she was.
Crissy loved sports and participated in Special Olympics throughout her younger years. She embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm. She had a passion for dancing and could often be found enjoying music and celebrating life on the dance floor.
One of Crissy’s greatest joys was watching Grease, a movie she knew word for word and enjoyed again and again. She loved playing bingo, the beach, spending countless hours playing with her Barbies, swimming for hours, and spending time with family and friends. She also loved watching scary movies, especially Halloween. Her excitement and happiness were contagious, and she shared them generously with everyone around her.
Crissy was deeply loved by her family. She is survived by her father, Earl Steinour; her siblings, Rick, Sharon, Barry (wife Pam), Tammy; her brother-in-law, Robert Foth; and her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and loved ones from all over who adored her.
In addition to her mother, Crissy was preceded in death by her sister, Vicky Foth, and her brother-in-law, Kevin Smith.
Crissy’s kindness, joyful spirit, and unconditional love will never be forgotten. Though our hearts are heavy with her passing, we find comfort in the many wonderful memories she leaves behind. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and she will be forever loved and deeply missed.
