Claytin E. Christianson, 42, Gettysburg, PA passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at the York Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born January 3, 1983 in Fairfax, VA the son of the late Alan M. and Alice Escott Christianson. Claytin is survived by his wife, Betzie Sinclair Christianson.
Claytin was a 2001 graduate of Rockville High School in Maryland and also took classes at Thomas Edison Technical High School. He worked his entire career in HVAC and for the last 19 years at Stulz Air Technology Systems in Frederick, MD. Claytin had a deep passion for cars — he loved everything from working on his own car to attending car shows and talking with anyone who shared his enthusiasm. His love for cars reflected how he lived his life: with energy, purpose, heart and vision. But most of all he loved time with his family, watching Ava play Lacrosse at Gettysburg Area High School and Venom Lacrosse or Jacob in Gettysburg Midget Football.
In addition to his wife, Claytin is survived by two children; Ava Christianson, Jacob Christianson all at home, and a sister, Ashtin Jara and her husband Diego of Fredrick, MD. Not to mention all the extended relatives and friends who’s lives he touched.
