Born August 6, 1956 in Gettysburg, PA to James E. Wherley and the late Sandra K. (Kint) Wherley.
Dan is a graduate of Gettysburg High School and worked at South Central Community Action Program (SCCAP) for over 25 years in the weatherization department. Dan loved anything to do with hunting or fishing and frequently spent time doing both.
Dan is survived by his wife, Susan A. (Miller) Wherley; his sons, Michael Wherley (Beverly Fisher), and Daniel C. Wherley, Jr. (Wendy); his grandchildren, Trinitey Wherley, Desiree Wherley, and Layla Wherley; and his great granddaughter, Roseanna Wherley.
In addition to his mother, he is predeceased by his brother, Robert Wherley.
In accordance with Danâs wishes, there will be no public services.
