Loving her was easy. She was the type of woman who brought out the best of those around her. She served as an example of kind spirit, warm presence and adoration towards oneâs family.
In her younger days, she may have been found galavanting around Fairfield and Gettysburg with her friends or spending time with her beloved mother, Helen. In later years her time was spent enjoying all the fruits of a life well lived. She delighted in the love of those around her, re-kindled her love for crocheting, and spent time talking with the Lord.
She is sister to Elaine Strachan and her husband Raymond, and sister to Linda Kahler. She is mother to son Matthew and his wife Nicole (the Daughter she waited 26 years to have). She is Mom-Mom to her most precious grandson, James.
There will never be another Deb and there will never be another Mom-Mom. We take comfort in knowing that she gains more being with the Lord than we lose in her passing. We look forward to the day where we
