enis Donald Bailey, of Gettysburg, passed away at the age of 63 on October 16th. He leaves behind his daughters, Nicole Bailey Bridgewater and Natasha Leigh Bailey, his grandchildren Caleb and Rosalind Kopatz, his brothers Joseph and Wallace, his friend and ex-wife Colleen Stevens, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Isabel, his father Ronald, and his dog Heidi. Denis was regularly referred to as âthe nicest guy youâll ever meet.â He took pleasure in small things, like a cup of coffee with his mom or niece, or grilling burgers on a fall day. He loved driving through the mountains, wearing shorts in the snow, and going to car shows. He knew a âshortcutâ to anywhere and the price of gas everywhere. He will be missed. A memorial will be held in his honor on Wednesday, October 25th at 4pm at Venue Bouchon, 5525 Taneytown Pike, Taneytown, MD, 21787.
