Dian L. Myers, age 72, loving wife of Lynn F. Myers, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. Dian was born on Sunday, March 8, 1953, in Carlisle. She was the child of the late Lawrence R. and Phyllis E. (Wolfe) Givler.
Her entire career was with Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, working her way up from the kitchen to the business office. Dian was a proud Den Leader in Cub Scouts and later a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop #170. “Mama Boop” was an avid animal lover, especially her many dogs and cats over the years. She liked heavier music than most would expect, any card game she could get her hands on, the Washington Nationals (much to her son’s chagrin), Penn State football, forever a Dale Jarrett fan, and was a hobbyist calligrapher. In addition to her husband of 49 years, she is also survived by one son, Anthony C. M. Myers, of Philadelphia, and one sister, Donna L. Baum, of Carlisle.
Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Graveside Service will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Westminster Cemetery, 1159 Newville Road in Carlisle. Interment will be in Westminster Cemetery.
