Donald “Don” Wayne Barnhart, Jr., age 67, of Dillsburg, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025 at UPMC Carlisle Regional Medical Center in Carlisle. He was born September 12, 1957 in Carlisle the son of the late Donald Wayne Barnhart, Sr. and Valda C. (Slusser) Barnhart.
Don graduated from Carlisle High School. He most recently worked as a Lead Maintenance Technician at Geodis for seven years. He was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Goodyear and Yellow Breeches Anglers & Conservation Association. In his spare time, Don enjoyed being an avid fly fisherman and hunting. His wife would describe him as always being a perfect husband and he will be missed by so many.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Mary G. (Biecher) Barnhart; two brothers, Timothy R. Barnhart and his wife, Robin of Gardners and Michael L. Barnhart and his wife, Teresa of Shippensburg and nieces and nephews.
Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main St., Bendersville. Memorial Services are at the discretion of the family.
