Donald Lee Reed, 85, of Littlestown, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2025, at home. He was the loving husband of Darlene G. (Mundorff) Reed, Littlestown; together they shared 63 years of marriage.
Born November 25, 1939, in Floyd, Virginia, he was the son of the late Eslie Willard and Laura Ethel (Akers) Reed.
Donald retired in 2010 from C.J. Miller, Hampstead, MD, after 36 years of service. He was a member of Christ Church. Littlestown and a life member of the Littlestown Eagles FOE 2226. Donald loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Roxanne Brown and husband Paul, Hanover; sons, Gary Reed and wife Joanne, Littlestown, Donald Reed and wife Joann, Littlestown and Daniel Reed and spouse Alfonso, Dublin, VA; brother, Bud Reed and wife Peggy, Alum Ridge, VA; sisters, Beulah Hartlaub, Hanover, Brenda Hoke, Seven Valleys and Linda Eline and husband Sonny, Hanover; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Eslie, Eugene and James Reed.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 11 AM at Christ Church Cemetery, 131 Christ Church Rd., Littlestown, with Pastor Garry Sheaffer and Pastor Shane Fritz officiating.
