onna Jane Hetrick Hertz Tyler, 81 of Gettysburg, PA formerly of Fairfield, PA passed away at the York Hospital on Sunday, January 7, 2024. Born September 21, 1942 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Stewart & Mary Jane (Barthel) Hetrick. Donna was predeceased by her husbands, Charles Hertz and Richard âDickâ Tyler. She worked in the medical field serving as an LPN for many years at the South Mountain Restoration Center, Gettysburg Lutheran Home and the former Green Acres Nursing Home in Gettysburg. Donna was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting. She is survived by her daughter, Beth Tyler (William) of Fairfield, a son, William Hertz (Terri) of Fairfield, nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, a brother, Kevin Hetrick (Lois) of Annapolis, MD and two sisters, Barbara Francis and Debra Resner (Michael) of Florida. Donna was predeceased by a son, David Hertz, who died in 2007. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 12, 2024 at the Monahan Funeral Home in Fairfield. Interment will follow the services in the Fairfield Union Cemetery. A Viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00-11:00 AM.
