Born October 12, 1926, in Phenix, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Channing and Flossie (Collins) Nash. She was the wife of the late William Brown who died in 1999. They were married over 50 years.
Mrs. Brown worked for the Monumental Life Insurance Company in Baltimore for many years.
Dorothy will be remembered for her kind, sweet spirit, sense of humor, and love for all those around her.
She is survived by her beloved son, William C. Brown of Pine, Arizona. She is also survived by her dear niece and husband, Lori and Ted Neikirk, niece and husband, Nancy and Billy Stokes, and other beloved family members and friends. She was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at the Monahan Funeral Home, 27 Main Street, Fairfield, PA 17320. Interment will take place immediately following the service at Fairfield Union Cemetery.
