Dorothy (Dotty) D. Kint, 81, Orrtanna, PA, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Gettysburg Hospital.
She was born on November 29, 1944, in Gettysburg, PA, the daughter of the late Addison and Adelle Reaver Durboraw. Her husband, William Kint, died in 1997.
Dotty was a graduate of Gettysburg High School. For many years, she was employed at Motts, Inc., working in the office on payroll and financial reports. She volunteered
for the Adams County Office for Aging, preparing tax returns, and serving on the funeral meal team at St. James Lutheran Church.
But most importantly, she was very involved with her family, attending her grandchildren’s and great-grandchildren’s activities. Hardly ever missing a game, concert, or school event.
Dotty is survived by a daughter, Adelle Kint and her partner Debbie Cutchin of Portugal, a son, Richard “Sonny” Kint and his wife Susan of Gettysburg, PA, seven grandchildren; Erica Gageby and her husband Mike, Sarah de La Barrera and her companion Cory Knight, Jessica Kint and her companion Clifton Carroll, Timothy Kint and his wife Julia, Micah Redding and her husband Tyler, Tyler Kint, Julie Kint, sixteen great grandchildren; Kathryn, Kameryn, Jaxon, Elizabeth, Lea, Kendal, Kadence, Jayden, Madison, Bailey, Jaylen, Timothy Jr., Mae, Rose, CarsonTristan, two great grandchildren; Ellison, and Sutton, and a sister, Patricia Kint ofGettysburg, PA.
A Celebration of Dotty’s Life will take place at St. James Lutheran Church, Gettysburg, PA on Wednesday, December 31st, at 1:00 PM with Rev. Andrew Geib
officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial can be made to St. James Lutheran Church, 109 York Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325, or Greyhound Pets Inc., 21521 WA-9, Woodinville, WA 98072.
