Richard was born December 22, 1926 in Adams County, PA to the late Clarence and Margaret (Whisler) Hartlaub.
Richard was a computer analyst for the federal government who retired at 43 years old. He served in the Army from 1945-1947. He was very active member at Northwestern Presbyterian Church of St. Petersburg, FL. Richard enjoyed traveling and playing cards and computer games.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Nancy Delzingaro of Paxton, VA, Daughter-in-law, Ann (Harvey) Hartlaub of Schaefferstown, PA, Grandchildren: David Hartlaub (Laura) of Lancaster, PA, Michael Hartlaub (Alicia Spurgeon) of Forest Hills, MD, and Alicia Hartlaub Ireson (Dane) of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and eight great grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his first wife Hazel (Knouse) Hartlaub and their son Donald Richard Hartlaub, and second wife Margret (Steele) Hartlaub.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, 11AM at the Lower Marsh Creek Cemetery, 375 Byers Lane, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
