Obituary: Earl Ray Wattier

Earl Ray Wattier, 45, of Gardners, PA, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026, in his home. He was born January 12, 1981, in Spearman, Texas, to Dana (Diggs) Wattier and the late Joe Wattier.

Earl proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for seven years. He worked for Tuckey Mechanical and was a member of the American Legion Post 645 in Mt. Holly Springs. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, kayaking, hiking, and most importantly, spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving is his loving wife, Sherry (Morrow) Wattier of Gardners; son, Ethan Wattier of Springfield, OH; step children, Steven Kiner (Amanda) of Littlestown, Lindsey Elder (Monte) of Milton, FL, Donnie Cooley of Gardners, and Tiffany Spitz (Roger) of Shippensburg; eleven grandchildren; two sisters, Lori Acevedo (Joseph) of Oklahoma and Desi Harris (Kevin) of Texas; numerous nieces and nephews; and best friend, John Ritterbeck of Ohio. In addition to his father, Earl was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ada Ruth Diggs, uncle, Earl Ray Wattier (his namesake), and grandson, Reed Spitz.
