Edward L. (Eddie, Ed) Cramer, 84, formerly of Bendersville and Carlisle, PA, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at SpiriTrust Lutheran at Gettysburg Village. He was born February 3, 1941, to the late Leonard H. Cramer Sr. and the late Beulah C. (Kepner) Forney. He was predeceased by Linda K. (Showers) Cramer, Sandra (Martin) (Cramer) Warren, and daughter Kimberly S. Linn, all of Carlisle, PA.
Ed attended Carlisle High School and later completed his GED course to further his career at Carlisle Hospital, where he was employed for over 35 years as an orthopedic technician, assisting surgeons in the operating room. Ed later chose to work for the Gettysburg School District. After retirement, Ed worked for the Schadd Detective Agency, mostly working at the Knouse Foods facility.

In addition to his career, Ed enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as all his animals, which included dogs, rabbits, goats, and even a horse. Some of Ed’s hobbies included hunting (a trip to Maine), fishing (especially a few charter trips with friends), and dirt-bike riding back in the day, as well as many trips to Florida. But his favorite pastime is his love for music and dancing. He danced up until a year before he passed.
Surviving are Ed’s two children: son, Jeffrey E. Cramer, and wife, Michele of Aspers, and daughter, Deborah A. Keller of Keyser, WV, four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
