She was born March 27, 1935 in Gettysburg, PA the daughter of the late Clarence and Alice Overholtzer Sanders.
Florence was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She graduated from St. Francis Elementary School and Delone Catholic High School. After high school she worked at Fairfield Shoe Company . But most of her career she was a Certified Nursing Assistant first at Michael Manor and later at Green Acres, where she retired from. Florence enjoyed puzzles, crocheting and her cats. But most of all she love to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Entenmann is survived by a son, Chris Entenmann and his wife Mary of Gettysburg, PA, six grandchildren; Kristie Miller and her husband William, Shawn Entenmann and his wife Mary Ellen, Riley Davis-Entenmann, Mica Gorman, Denell Moon, Christian Moon, three great grandchildren; Evan Miller, Tucker Entenmann, Haidyn Mede, a sister, Sister Alice Maurie Sanders RSM of Gettysburg, PA and a daughter-in-law, Mary Beth Entenmann. She was predeceased by brothers, sisters and a son: David C. Entenmann, Francis X. Sanders, Curvin A. Sanders, Mary M. Miller, Mark A. Sanders, Rita M. Sanders and Joan E. Rowe.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday February 26, 2024 at 2:00 PM from St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Fr. Aaron Lynch celebrant. Interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery. There will be a viewing at the church on Monday from 1:00 Pm until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 59 Table Rock Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325 or Adams County SPCA, 11 Goldenville Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
