Hazel E. George, 77 years of age, of Hanover, passed to eternal life on September 10, 2025, at UPMC, Hanover. Hazel was the daughter of the late William and Eileen (Eagan) Kucherer.
She was the beloved wife for 58 years of Frank George, devoted mother of Kevin Michael George, Hanover, and devoted grandmother of Eric Ryan George and Faith Rose George. Hazel was the loving sister of the late Lillian Thompson, Beverly (Calvin) Cain, Charles (Cathy) Kucherer, and the late Billy Kucherer. Also surviving are nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at St. James Lutheran Church, 109 York St., Gettysburg, with viewing available after 11:00 a.m., officiated by Rev. Andrew R. Geib. Burial will be in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, 11501 Garrison Forest Rd., Owings Mills, MD. Relatives and friends are invited to spend time with the family at a viewing from 7 to 9 PM on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Littles Funeral Home, 34 Maple Ave., Littlestown.
