Helen L. Weaver, 79, of Gettysburg, PA, died Saturday evening, August 16, 2025, at SpiriTrust Lutheran Home, Gettysburg, PA.
She was the loving wife of Harold E. Weaver, who passed away on September 13, 2024.
Helen was born June 7, 1946, in Gettysburg, PA. She was the daughter of the late Harry “June” and Sarah (Tressler) Patterson.
Helen graduated from Bigglerville High School in 1964.
Helen was employed by Frock Brothers Trucking Company in New Oxford, PA, and spent 12 years traveling across the country with her husband, Harold.
Helen also had a passion for crafts, flower arrangements, ceramics, macrame, reading, crossword puzzles, dancing, listening to Classic Country, Bluegrass, & Gospel music.
Helen is survived by her two sons, Kenneth Weaver and his wife Lori, of Lake Havasu, AZ, Timothy Weaver of Gettysburg, PA, her four grandchildren, Scott Weaver, Kristen Weaver, Hannah Thomas & Hallie Weaver. Her three great-grandchildren, Riley Weaver, Cash Schaber, and Codi Schaber, her brother, Tim Patterson of Gettysburg, PA, and her two sisters, Clara Kelley of Hanover, PA, and Rita Sullivan of Abbottstown, PA.
She was preceded in death by her three brothers, Jim Patterson, Tom Patterson, Don Patterson, and her sister, Anna Margaret.
Funeral services for Helen will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, August 25, 2025, at the Monahan Funeral Home, 27 E. Main St., Fairfield, PA. Burial will be in the Fairfield Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the services on Monday morning at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
