Jacque A. Curll, age 89, of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on March 16, 2026.
Jacque was born and raised in Clarion, Pennsylvania, and later made his home in New Kensington and finally in Gettysburg. He was a graduate of Clarion Area High School and later earned his degree from Pennsylvania State University. Jacque proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
Throughout his life, Jacque embraced learning, service, and adventure. He was a licensed pilot and held a lifelong fascination with aviation. He found joy in Steelers football, gardening, bird watching, and reading historical books. These interests reflected his curiosity, patience, and appreciation for both nature and history.
Jacque was devoted to his family and is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Donna (Luther) Curll. He was a proud and caring father to two sons: Cary Curll of Gettysburg and Bruce Curll (Heather) of Boiling Springs. He was a cherished grandfather to Zachary Curll (Shaquae), Shauna Ventress (Jerrick), and Kristan Hassler (Cody), and a beloved great-grandfather to Karsyn, Savannah, Kinsley, Jackson, Carmen, Ezekiel, and Serena. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Jacque was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Marjorie Curll, his brother Gene Curll, his sister Bonnie Cyphert, and his niece, Cathy Curll.
