
He was born April 18, 1935, in Westernport, MD the son of the late Daniel and Elizabeth Hendra Holler. His wife of 66 years, Emilie Hollaway Holler died in May of this year.
Jim was an active member of the Iron Springs Brethren in Christ Church in Fairfield. He began his career with G C Murphy Company and then worked with Sew and Save Fabrics. He later found his calling as a self-employed upholsterer with Holler Upholstery, Bunny Allen Draperies and Carterâs Upholstery. His work was highly regarded by others in the field. In his retirement, Jim drove a school bus for special needs children. He also volunteered at Ruthâs Harvest in Fairfield. In his leisure time he enjoyed traveling and square dancing with his wife Emilie in addition to woodworking, reading, and tending to his garden.
Jim is survived by three children; James A. Holler, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Fairfield, PA, JoAnn Mueller and her husband David of Lancaster, PA, Chris Holler and his wife Teresa of Clarksburg, MD, nine grandchildren, 13 great- grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and a brother, Charles Holler. He was predeceased by brothers; Robert, William, Albert, John and a sister, Margaret in addition to ½ sisters; Mildred and Virginia, ½ brother, Daniel.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Ruthâs Harvest, 13 E. Main Street, Fairfield, PA 17320.
