Jane D. Ruppert, 85, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, in the Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born February 22, 1941, in Harrisburg to the late James A. and Dorothea V. (Walsh) Kauffman, Sr. She was the widow of John H. Ruppert, Sr.
Jane worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Surviving are her children, Linda Bixler (Michael) of Mt. Holly Springs, David Hale (Barbara Kachik) of Snow Shoe, PA, and Allen Hale (Barbara) of Carlisle; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brother, James Kauffman, Jr., (Martha) of New Cumberland; and sister, Virginia Bone of Camp Hill. In addition to her parents and husband, Jane was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen (Hale) Thomas.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family, and burial will take place in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Cedar Point. Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs.
