On April 8, 2025, Jane Toomey Eyler left this earthly realm on her final journey home to receive a rich welcome into the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Jane was an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fairfield, PA and a member of the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites, (Carmel of JMS Daulphin PA). Jane’s faith was the cornerstone of her life and she was always ready, willing and able to lift you up in prayer when needed or requested.
She was a staunch advocate of animal rights and care. Her 3 beloved dogs were all rescues and over her lifetime she owned/cared for over 23 cats, many timid, old, lost and disabled little souls blossomed and thrived under her care. A few became permanent family members and many others were fed, treated and given a warm, dry place to stay.
Jane loved music, art and fine wine, she was a consummate hostess. She enjoyed several trips overseas with friends visiting Ireland and Belgium to name a few. Her quick smile and sense of humor will be sorely missed by her family and friends, especially those who have shared more than few adventures and an occasional misadventure with her often laughing all the way. She was a beloved friend, mentor and a fierce advocate for her loved ones.
