Joyce E. Baker, age 93 of Biglerville, PA, peacefully passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. Born January 6, 1933, in Gettysburg, PA.
She was the daughter of the late Emmert & Ella Mae (Shuler) Shultz. Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Robert L. Baker, who died August 31, 1992.
She had worked for many years at the former Bloser Baby Shoe Factory in Gettysburg and served as a housekeeper at the Brethren Home at Cross Keys Village for over 20 years before her retirement.
Joyce enjoyed gardening, cooking, playing Mrs. Claus at Christmas, and most of all, watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow and mature.
She is survived by her three children, Dale Baker (Kim)of East Berlin, PA, Yvonne Wintrode (Earl) of Hanover, PA and Charles Baker (Connie) of Orrtanna, PA, seven grandchildren, Bobbie Barrett, Ella Kime, Lorena Walker, Robert Baker, Barrett Baker, Brett Baker and Dana Crum, eleven great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Joyce was predeceased by eight siblings: Gladys Shultz, Jane Kemper, Robert Shultz, Charles Shultz, Susan Orner, Helen Wilkinson, Albert Shultz, and Paul Shultz.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at the Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg. Interment will follow the services in Flohrs Cemetery, McKnightstown, PA.
