Linda M. Kimple, 75, of Harrisburg, PA, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025, surrounded by family and friends at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital.
She was born June 26, 1950, in Gettysburg, PA, the daughter of the late William and Beatrice (Baker) Kimple.
Linda was a longtime and active member of Saint Catherine Laboure Catholic Church in Harrisburg, PA. She had a long and successful career with Highmark/United Concordia Health Insurance Company. Linda cherished the time she spent with family and friends. She was also an avid reader and loved the color “purple”.
Ms. Kimple was predeceased by two sisters; Barbara Kimple Hall and Dorothy Kimple Orner, a brother, Kenneth Kimple. Linda is survived by nieces and nephews: Robert Hall, James Hall, Joseph Hall, Michael Orner, Terry Orner, Kathy Kimple O’Sullivan, and Stephen Kimple, as well as many grandnieces/nephews and great grandnieces/nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, Orrtanna, PA, with Fr. Joseph Howard as celebrant. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass at the Loyola Center next to the church.
