Lynn E. Sowers, age 93 of Crystal River, Florida, formerly of Gardners, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025.
He was born on Thursday, February 25, 1932, in Gardners, the son of the late Chester E. and Esther E. (Weidner) Sowers.
Lynn was employed by Carlisle Tire and Wheel for almost 40 years. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Goodyear. He was a life member of the American Legion Post 674 in Mt Holly Springs and the Adams County Fish and Game.
His Wife, Martha Grove Sowers, passed away in 2021. He is survived by two daughters, Linda S. and husband Donald Nace of Gardners, and Traci A. Sowers of Carlisle, three step-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren, and nine step-great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Leona Chronister, and three brothers, Ivan, Roger, and Edgar Sowers.
Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main St., Bendersville. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 12th, in the Goodyear Cemetery in Gardners.
