Born August 3, 1939 in Gettysburg, PA she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Burdetta (Powell) Speelman. She was the wife of the late James M. Pritt who died in 2011.
Mrs. Pritt retired from Sealed Air in Hanover after 30 plus years of service. She enjoyed attending Wednesday Night Bible Study and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, as well as taking care of âSkippyâ the dog.
Marie is survived by her two children, Brenda S. Pritt and her husband Jeff Slagle, of Fairfield, PA, Michael J. Pritt, of Gettysburg, PA, her four grandchildren, T.J. Pritt and his wife Cristie, Amber Pritt, Jake Pritt and his wife Brittany, Austyn Pritt, her nine great grandchildren, Chloe, Corbyn, Sierra, Carter, Ceana, Nate, Emy, Brynn, Calloway, her sister, Donna Nunamaker and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Lynne Pritt who passed earlier this year, as well as her three sisters, Linda Mundorff, Ruth Speelman, Esther Sue Speelman, and her six brothers, Ray Speelman, Paul Speelman, Sterling Speelman, Raymond Speelman, Donald Speelman, and Emmerett Speelman.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Trinity United Church of Christ, 1126 Old Route 30, Cashtown, PA. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.
