Obituary: Marvin Clarence Westfall

Marvin Clarence “Mick” Westfall, 70, of New Oxford, died at home on Oct. 3, 2026, according to his family’s notice. He was born in Groton, Connecticut, to Marvin Matthew and Frances Gladys (Farrell) Westfall, who preceded him in death. He and Joan (Hoff) Westfall had been married nearly 50 years.

Westfall worked for 42 years at J.E. Baker Company in York before retiring. Outside work, he raised steers and enjoyed woodworking, gardening and beekeeping. His family’s notice describes him as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who took pride in helping those close to him.

He was preceded in death by his son, Bryan M. Westfall. Survivors include his wife; daughter Jennifer Timmins and her husband, David, of Hanover; daughter-in-law Terri Westfall-Aeppli and her husband, Scott, of Dillsburg; grandchildren Nolan and Bryson Westfall and Ella, Tara, Kyle and Haley Timmins; great-grandchildren Liam and Josie Timmins; and sister Cheryl Martinetti and her husband, Tony. The family said there will be no services.
