She was born December 4, 1927 in Gettysburg, PA the daughter of the late William and Elva Keckler Breighner. Her husband, Oscar Mummert died in 1994.
Mary was formerly employed at Windsor Shoe Company in Littlestown, PA, the Bedford Shoe Company in Littlestown, PA and MID Sewing Factory in Gettysburg, PA. She was a longtime member of St. Paulâs Lutheran Church in Harney, MD. She enjoyed bowling and loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Mummert is survived by her son, Larry E. Mummert and his wife Deb of Gettysburg, PA, four grandchildren; Kevin Mummert, Lori Caskey, Stacy Blocher, Stephanie Keller, seven great grandchildren; Kyle Caskey, Tyler Caskey, Kayla Mummert, Konnor Keller, Austin Keller, Kaelyn Blocher and Landon Blocher. She was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Mummert and three brothers, Dennis Breighner, Kenneth Breighner, and Richard Breighner.
A Celebration of Maryâs Life will take place at a later time. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Mt. Joy / St. Paulâs Lutheran Church, 2615 Taneytown Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
