She was born July 6, 1935 in Gettysburg, PA the daughter of the late Charles Wesley and Sadie Wagaman Crist. Her husband William J. âBillâ Strausbaugh, Sr. died in 2009.
Mary was very involved with raising her family, but later she and her husband were route drivers for the Gettysburg Times where she retired in 1999. She loved her flowers and garden. Mary also was avid with word search.
Mrs. Strausbaugh is survived by three children; Deborah Hankey of Littlestown, PA, Christy King and her husband Gregory of Biglerville, PA, William Joseph Strausbaugh, Jr. and his wife Diane of Dillsburg, PA, nine grandchildren; Brandon Hankey, Marlee Kingston, BreAnne Rugh, Jordan King, Chandler King, Alexander King, Hannah King, William J. Strausbaugh, III, Nick Strausbaugh, seventeen great grandchildren; Chloe Kingston, Hadley Kingston, Paislie Kingston, Blake King, Ava King, Ryder King, Madelyn King, Bryleigh King, Harper King, Cayleigh King, Brailynn Hartman, Emerson King, Jayla Langas, Nicky Langas, Lucy King, Abbey King, Alisa Rugh. She was predeceased by two children; Regina Keefer, Billie Strausbaugh, three grandchildren; Bryson King, Ranee Blosser, Kenneth W. Thomas, brothers and sisters: Lorraine Forsythe, Louis Crist, Charles W. Crist, Jr.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 29, 2023 at 11:00 AM from Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg, PA. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.
