Mary Lois Kane Grim, 95, passed away peacefully at her home on December 5, 2025, in Biglerville, PA.
Lois graduated from Biglerville High School in 1948 and soon after married the love of her life, Ronald “Ronnie” Grim, on November 19, 1948. Ronnie preceded her in death on March 6, 2007.
Born the beloved daughter of Francis and Eva Kane, Lois was also predeceased by her brother Nelson and sisters Mildred, Freda, and Doris. She was preceded in death as well by her daughter Kaci, the twin sister of Jill.
Lois is survived by her six children: Rob (Deb) Grim, Trudy (Ken) Orner, Kim (Fred) Nelson, Jack (Lori) Grim, and Jill (Curtis) Whitmoyer. She leaves behind 14 grandchildren—Clarissa, Rocky, Troy, Ty, Kaci, Kandi, Brooks, Brock, Bree, Brandee, Jebb, Coltt, Reid, and Kyle—and 26 great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored.
Family was the center of Lois’s world. She treasured being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and she held close the friendships she shared with her Charmed Circle ladies, her card club friends, and her sister-in-law Jane Grim. Her grandson Reid held a special place in her heart; her family knows he came along at just the right time, giving her joy, purpose, and reasons to stay active. Lois’s family will miss her deeply.
Lois is now at peace with the Lord and surely thriving in His care.
A private interment will be held, with services open to family and friends at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 15, 2025 at Trinity United Church of Christ, 60 E. High St., Gettysburg, PA.
