Melissa was born November 21, 1960 in Gettysburg, PA the daughter of the late Merle F. LeGay and Margaret (Bushman) LeGay.
Melissa was a resident of the Margaret E. Moul Home in York, PA for over 40 years. She loved interacting with friends and staff members as well as watching movies, listening to music and going to the weekly church services at the home.
She is survived by her brother, Michael J. LeGay of Gettysburg, PA and his wife Kathy (Hench) LeGay, a niece Chelsea (LeGay) Henley of St. Louis, MO as does a nephew, Alex LeGay.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 2:00 PM from Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg with Rev. Rick Smith officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg, PA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
