He was born December 27, 1958 in Gettysburg, PA the son of the late Merle Cassatt, Sr. and Ilene Punt Cassatt.
Merle was employed at International Paper for 31 years retiring in 2010. He was a member of the Adams County Fish and Game and
a former member of the Gettysburg Eagles. He also enjoyed fishing. He enjoyed playing cards with friends.
Mr. Cassatt is survived by a son, Joey Cassatt and wife Darla Cassatt of Aspers, PA, a daughter, Sandy Mosher of Orrtanna, PA, grandchildren;
Anthony (AJ) Cassatt, Jakob Cassatt, Calvin Longo, Malachi Longo, Troy Mosher. Friend; Norman Arter of Orrtanna PA, Lisa Gould of Aspers PA.
A Celebration of Merleâs Life will take place July 31st at 11am at Heidlersburg Fire Company 2720 Heidlersburg Rd Gettysburg, Pa 17325
