Michael G. Harglerode, age 71, of Shippensburg, passed away May 26, 2025, at Mercy House after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer. He was born March 13, 1954, in Chambersburg, to the late R. Gordon and Katherine D. (Mentzer) Harglerode.
Michael was a parts manager for various automotive companies, including Naugle Motors, Fishers Auto Parts, and Glenn Miller Auto Parts, and was a life member of the HUB City Club. He loved hunting and fishing. He also loved boating and taking family and friends along to Raystown Lake.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Barbara J. (Wonders) Harglerode; brother, Gary Harglerode and wife, Lorrie (Jones) of Shippensburg; and sister, Dawn (Harglerode) Chamberlin and husband, Jerry of Shippensburg. His memory will live on with his nieces and nephews: Ashley, Colby, Michael, Kayla, and Lauren, and great-nieces and great-nephews: Aurora, Stella, Corbin, and Cullen.
Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. At Michael’s request, there will be no viewing.
