Mike was known to many of his friends at âHigh Roller.â He resided in Gettysburg for many years prior to his retirement.
Mike was born in Mahanoy City, PA was the son of the late Michael and Agnes Mahalage. He graduated from Mahanoy Township High School in 1953 and attended the University of Pittsburgh. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Mike was a professional chef and was last employed at the Pennsylvania State Police Academy. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Parish in Gettysburg.
He was preceded in death by two sisters Virginia Mary Mahalage and Mary Anne Clancy and one brother Steve. He is survived by his sister Gloria Mahalage Alaween and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to a visitation service from 1-2pm on Sunday, March 10th at Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, PA.
