Nancy Guise Patterson, formerly of Gettysburg, PA, died on September 14, 2025. Born May 21, 1938, she was the daughter of the late J. Glenn and Ethel (Cleaver) Guise. Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Nym (Pat) Patterson, after 52 years of marriage.
Nancy was a 1956 graduate of Gettysburg High School and a 1958 graduate of Marion College, Marion, Virginia.
Before becoming a homemaker, her administrative employment included Adams Electric Cooperative, Letterkenny Army Depot MISMA, HQS 16th United States Air Force Torrejon Air Force Base, Madrid, Spain, and United Telephone Company, Gettysburg, PA. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ.
She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey and daughter-in-law Colleen, and David and daughter-in-law Stephanie, both of Mechanicsburg; two grandchildren, Jacob (and his wife Nicole) and Katherine; two great grandchildren, Lincoln and Eliana; one brother, D. Richard, and sister-in-law Billie Ann Guise of Gettysburg, and a number of nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Trinity United Church of Christ, 60 East High Street, Gettysburg, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dr. Frederick Young officiating.
