Nancy L. Sloan, 88, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025, in her home. She was born December 21, 1936, in Carlisle to the late George and Geneveve (Maurice) Mouers and was the widow of Bernard L. Sloan who passed away in February 1999.
Nancy worked on her family farm and held various other jobs in the Shoe Factory and the VFW Post 477 in Carlisle.
Surviving are her son, James Sloan (Joe) of Mt. Holly Springs; grandchildren, Corby and Teka Sloan; great-grandchildren, Trevor, Bree, Dakota, and Cody; five great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Christy Sloan; and her beloved dog, Heidi. In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by her son, Robert Sloan, and brother, George Mouers.
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, 1921 Ritner Hwy, Carlisle, PA 17013, with Pastor Barbara Maurice officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011. Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs.
