Born August 4, 1937 in Tarentum, PA she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Hudak) Stahl. She was the wife of John J. Defeo, Jr. of Biglerville to whom she was married for 56 years.
Mrs. Defeo was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church Bonneauville. She was a sales assistant to her husband at WTYM radio in Kittanning, PA, for a number of years before retirement. She lived with her husband in the Natrona Heights area for 43 years before moving to Adams County in 2011. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by her son, Christopher Monzi and his wife Julie, of Gettysburg, and her three grandchildren, Emily, Abigail, and Scott. She was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Stahl.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, July 19, 2024 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 12 E. Hanover St., Bonneauville. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass Friday morning at the church.
