Nancy (Scott) Bushey passed peacefully on Monday, October 23, 2023 after a long illness. Born in Gettysburg June 16, 1937, she lived a full high-spirited life for 86 years. Her heart belonged to the family farms and Adams County. After many years living in Harrisburg she decided to move back to Gettysburg in the mid-1980âs to take over managing the family farms and cattle business. She was always in the thick of things getting her hands dirty or bottle feeding a struggling calf, whatever needed to be done, she was eager to be involved. She was very passionate about farm life, family, and friends.

She attended Gettysburg High School and Linden Hall School for Girls Junior College in Lititz, PA, class of 1957

She was a proud member of Gettysburg Presbyterian Church, Land Conservancy of Adams County, and the Historic Preservation Society of Gettysburg Adams County

Nancy was preceded in death by her father Harry L Scott, mother Alice (Lippy) Scott and her brother Dale L Scott (Mary O).

She is survived by 4 nieces and nephews, John L Scott, Mary Ann S Gorman, JoAnn S Meiers, and Harry L Scott; 5 great nieces and nephews; Denise, Scott, Matthew, Morgan, and Evan; and 2 great-great nieces Lauren and Meredith.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, 11am, at the Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg, PA. A visitation will precede the service beginning at 10am where the family will receive friends.
