Obituary: Nathan Dellinger

Nathan Daniel Dellinger, born July 15, 1997, passed suddenly on September 30, 2025, at his residence in Fairfield, PA.

Having been named a prophet from the lion’s den, Nathan Daniel was baptized and sealed unto the kingdom of heaven of his own accord on July 25, 2012, in the waters of Kinzua Beach in the Allegheny National Forest.

Nathan graduated from Fairfield High School in 2015 and was employed at BPG USA, a book printing company that specialized in digital composition, pre-press, finishing, and embossing of book production.

Nathan’s spiritual gifts of wisdom, empathy, compassion, and ministry allowed him to connect with many people on a multitude of levels, above all through his music.

Nathan’s passion for music was ignited at the early age of 6, when he was gifted his first guitar and began playing. His deeply rooted desire and dedication to the strings led him to write, compose, and perform for over 20 years.

After graduating in 2016 from The Academy of Media and Production in McSherrystown, PA, he had hoped to own and operate his own music studio and production company.

Nathan was preceded in death by his Aunts, Christina Dellinger and Linda Miller; his Uncle, Charles Ahearn I; his cousins, Devin Parris, Nakoa Britton, Candy Buzzelli, Johnny Lehman, and Nicholas McNeill.

In addition to his parents, Daniel L. Dellinger and Amy J. (AHEARN) James, he is survived by his stepmother, Susan Dellinger. His sisters, Sierra Dellinger and Bella James. Paternal grandparents, Barry (Barbara) Dellinger; Maternal grandparents, David (Cora) Ahearn Sr., and Sharon “Pinky” Mead; as well as his Uncles, Gary (Dawn) Dellinger, David (Amy Lynne) Ahearn Jr., and his Aunt Christy (Jason) Tessena. Cousins, Aaron Dellinger, Allison Dellinger, Jordan Harris, Courtney (Ahearn) Rushmore, Ashley (Ahearn) Jordan, Chelsey (Parris) Alcock all their spouses and children. His step-siblings are Therese (Masser) Klingensmith, William Masser, Allison Mann, and Brooklynn James.

In honor of Nathan’s life, a Festival of music is planned to take place in Adam’s County in his birth month of July 2026, with proceeds going to a music scholarship in his name.
