Patricia V. Davis, 76 of York Springs, PA, passed away Monday, August 18, 2025, surrounded by family and loved ones.
Born in Mechanicsburg, PA, on October 25, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Cyrus Glenn & Virginia (Fure) Brechbiel. Patricia is survived by her brother C. Glenn Brechbiel Jr. of York Springs, PA., and her husband of nearly 60 years, Samuel E. Davis. In addition, she is survived by her son, Glenn S. Davis of New Oxford, PA, her daughter Sue Ann McCarty and husband Shane of Dillsburg, PA, four grandchildren, Nathaniel Davis, Danielle Woodson, Angela McCarty King, and Shannon McCarty, three great grandchildren, and too many nieces, nephews, and cousins to list.
She attended St. Joseph Catholic School in Mechanicsburg and graduated from Cumberland Valley High School, class of 1966. Patricia retired on June 30, 2000, after 29 years of service with the Defense Logistics Agency, Mechanicsburg, PA. She was the longtime secretary/treasurer of Huntington Township for nearly 50 years.
