Pauline E. Clabaugh, 87, of Gettysburg, PA, passed away Friday evening, August 21, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born November 19, 1938, in Middletown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Stella (Kreitz) Shriner. She was the wife of Eugene R. Clabaugh, of Gettysburg, to whom she was married for 59 years.

Mrs. Clabaugh worked numerous jobs throughout her life, including at Clara Frock in Thurmont, The Shamrock Restaurant, the Maryland Fire Academy, and eventually ran her own cleaning business.

In addition to her husband, Pauline is survived by her three daughters, Toni Clabaugh, of Gettysburg, PA, Tina Duncan, of York, PA, Debbie Jackson, of Elizabethtown, PA, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and her sister, Ruthie Wagaman, of Fairfield, PA. She was preceded in death by four siblings, Margaret Sweeney, Frankie Shriner, Kenneth Shriner, Martha Toms, and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Pauline will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, PA. Burial will be at Sunrise Cemetery, Harney, MD.
