Peter S. Carmichael, 58 of Gettysburg, PA passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at the York Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Christ Lutheran Church, 30 Chambersburg St. Gettysburg, PA. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday, July 26th from 5:00-7:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00-10:30 AM. The Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements. I was deeply saddened by his sudden death. My mom worked with Pete for a while and she shared lots of awesome memories of him. The one I keep remembering was when I met him for the first time and said to myself, “This is a man with a unique personality.” He sure did and he will be missed by many.
