Ray Daniel Marsh entered into eternal peace on August 3, 2025, at the LifeBridge Health- Dove House in Westminster, Maryland. Born on August 31, 1947, to Elwood and Evelyn Marsh of Silver Run, Maryland, Ray was a graduate of Westminster High School, Class of 1965.
Ray shared 56 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Jeanie Marsh (Norma). He will be deeply missed by his daughters, Beth Ann Shipley and her husband Evan, and Linda Moul and her husband Drew. He was a proud grandfather to Harmony Shipley, Dawson Hommerbocker, and Emily Meagher, as well as a cherished great-grandfather to Abby, Liam, and Koston. Ray is also lovingly remembered by his brother Ronnie Marsh and wife Jeanie, along with extended family and dear friends.
Ray lived a life full of simple joys—he found peace in fishing, excitement in hunting and sport shooting, and happiness by the ocean or around a campfire. A skilled machinist by trade, Ray was known for his ability to repair just about anything, and he took pride in being the go-to “fix-it” man for anyone in need.
Ray’s life will be honored at a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Dove House www.lifebridgehealth.org in Westminster, whose compassionate care brought comfort to Ray and his loved ones during his final days.
