Rodney lived a life defined by love, dedication, hard work, and perseverance.

He attended Catonsville Community College and went on to build a diverse and meaningful career. Rodney spent many years in retail management before developing expertise in several specialty trades, including his work with Rebert’s Sealcoating. No matter the job, he was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and unwavering commitment.

Above all, Rodney was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Diana; his children, Jennifer Good (Stephen) and Jeremy Rebert (Crystal); and his cherished granddaughters, Ashlyn and Alaina Rebert. He is also survived by his brother Phillip Rebert (Dottie); his sister Daphne Kirkner (Rick); his sister‑in‑law Lillie Rebert; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Virginia Rebert, and his brother Jerry Rebert.

Rodney deeply valued family and created a home filled with love, support, and lasting memories. His stories, guidance, and sense of humor will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. He especially treasured family trips to the Outer Banks, North Carolina, where he found joy in simply being together.

Rodney had a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors and wildlife. He cherished the time he spent hunting with his brother Jerry, his son Jeremy, and his son‑in‑law Steve. Many evenings and weekends were spent in the woods, where Rodney found peace, purpose, and connection. He also enjoyed years of hunting trips to Potter County, where he built lasting friendships, as well as memorable trips to Virginia with friends.

The family extends their sincere gratitude to Journey Hospice of Central PA for their compassionate care over the past three months, and to a special neighbor whose support and kindness meant so much during Rodney’s illness.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 6th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service and burial, all at Christ Church of Littlestown, 131 Christ Church Rd.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Journey Hospice of Central PA or to the American Lung Association.

Rodney’s legacy lives on in the people he loved, the lessons he taught, and the countless moments of kindness he offered throughout his life. His presence will be deeply missed, but the impact he made will remain forever.
